Some items in our store are just too large or heavy to ship via our standard options.
We therefore have provided an easy way for you to request the custom freight cost before you purchase.
If you have added an item to your cart that is too large or heavy to ship in the normal way, you will need to request a shipping quote.
At the Shipping & Checkout section of the checkout process you will see something like the following:
Please fill in your Billing details including Country, Address etc. Above the Total (under Shipping), you will be asked to “Contact us to get a shipping quote”.
Please click the link to “Request a quote” (only once!).
If you have filled in all your address details correctly, we will receive your request. We’ll then use the entered information to generate a custom shipping quote. We’ll then add it to your quote request at our end.
You’ll then receive an email indicating the shipping cost, as well as a link – “Complete your order” – to your order that now includes a shipping total.
You can then proceed to fill in the payment details and place your order as normal.
